    Pom and Tina are wonderful! Room was clean an well equiped. Pom helped beyond what he needed to twice during my stay an myself an my family couldn't be more appreciative!! I got some tuna I didn't know how to fillet on the Friday an Pom was kind enough between running the motel to help do it. Then on Sat early morning I woke to a flat battery, I was freaking out as I had a charter to go to an the a 4.5hr drive home an I was by myself. Pom went out of his way to get me to my fishing charter but then he also arranged for a replacement battery as mine couldn't be jumped. Nothing was a problem for Pom an Tina - even how they assisted other customers with other requests that I saw. Thank you for being one of my highlights on my trip, for a clean an comfortable room an for being wonderful people !!!

    The Retro is a great budget Motel. This is our 3rd stay here. The rooms are very clean. The owners were lovely and cant do enough to please. The location is quiet, beds were extremely comfy, unlike other motels in Portland. Would highly recommend.
