    Congratulations to the owner - the bluestone cottage is superbly decorated. The appointments are all in keeping with the era. Everything is spotlessly clean, the bedding, towels etc are beautiful. Our family had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

    Barleycorn Inn was just what we needed as the base for our and and salt fix! Clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and well maintained, with nooks, books, a cottage garden to wander around......so that it didn't take us long to 'snuggle in'. Positioned in a very quiet location, which is a 'must' for the holiday break. We wanted to 'do' the Great South West Walk, but also have access to the supermarket, coffee shops, healthy takeaways, etc, so that Barleycorn was positioned perfectly for us. Easy to get on with owners, who briefly popped in to see that we were quite comfortable. All very nice, really. Would like to return.
